Welcome! I am an executive and leadership coach based in Asheville NC and the founder of Beverly Jurenko Coaching. What I find most fulfilling about my work is guiding leaders through moments of growth and transformation. When my clients gain clarity, identify what has been holding them back, and move forward with confidence and authenticity, I know I've made a meaningful impact. With broad international experience in both the corporate and non-profit sectors, as well as extensive executive level work in the startup space, I bring a unique, well-rounded perspective to my coaching practice. I began my journey as a professional coach in 2020, and I am a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation. I trained as an ontological coach with the Academy for Coaching Excellence and am a certified Enneagram Practitioner with Integrative Enneagram Solutions. My clients range from C-suite executives in publicly traded companies to local founders in Appalachia who I coach through Mountain BizWorks.
In addition to my coaching practice, I am activity involved in the Asheville community. I serve as the International Services Committee chair for the Rotary Club of Asheville, and am a founding member of the National Speakers Association - Western North Carolina. As an Advisory Committee member for the Asheville YMCA, I cultivate the concept that physical fitness and mental toughness are linked.
I hold a BA in Economics and Russian/East European Studies (cum laude) from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Additionally, I am certified in Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) by eCornell and I teach a course on Entrepreneurship locally in Spanish for Mountain BizWorks.
As a mother, wife, and serial expat, I have first-hand experience navigating life transitions, career-life balance, and the complexities of multicultural challenges. These personal experiences shape my coaching approach and allow me to offer my clients insight, compassion, and support as they pursue their own journeys.

I've had the privilege of working with multinational corporations in the energy and finance sectors across the US, Central and South America, Europe, and Russia. Among the notable companies are Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, Enron Corp., Prudential Investment Corporation, and BancBoston Capital, to name a few.
In a unique experience, I found myself as the only woman on a team of oil experts from Amoco, stationed in Siberia for extended periods. Our mission involved negotiating a production sharing agreement for a project with a recoverable 1 billion barrels of oil.
During my tenure as the head of the Buenos Aires office for BancBoston Capital, I served as a Vice President and junior partner in a private equity firm, overseeing investments exceeding $1 billion annually. Notably, I played a pivotal role in leading due diligence for a wind turbine acquisition in Germany while at Enron. In my role as a Director in Credit, I applied Monte Carlo simulations to identify and price risks.
My international ventures also took me to Brussels and the Washington DC area, where I worked as a contractor for a Japanese startup focused on monetizing patented heat recycling technology.
Prior to establishing Inside Edge, I served as the Director of Diversity & Inclusion for Anadarko, reporting directly to the CEO and the Executive Committee. My journey has been diverse, spanning continents and industries, and each experience has contributed to my versatile skill set.

I'm open to speaking engagements, workshops, and training sessions. Some notable events I've spoken at include Mountain BizWorks, the YMCA Western North Carolina, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, EDP Renewables, the Women's Global Leadership Conference, the National Diversity Council, the Energy Inclusion Council, and the Asheville Chamber of Commerce.
When moderating panels, I focus on fostering collaboration and building a sense of community among participants, enhancing the overall audience experience. Additionally, as an NC Idea Ice House Entrepreneurial Mindset Gold Level Facilitator, I lead courses on the entrepreneurial mindset.
My written work has been featured in various regional publications, including The Envoy Guide, WNC Business Magazine, and Carolina Spark Magazine.

I believe that inclusion makes us happy, and that treating people fairly brings out the best in us. I am deeply committed to Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and am certified as a DEI practitioner. Working to build a world filled with inclusion so that everyone can shine is deeply important to me.

I commit to high standards of excellence. I follow through in everything I do, going beyond expectations to provide outstanding quality and service. This is not a choice for me - it's how I'm built.

Everyone has some degree of fear, but it is possible to move beyond it. I strive to consistently move forward towards my goals by taking courageous and authentic action.
